I am sick of these British morons who think that the law does not apply to them, and that they have the right to behave however they like when visiting another country.

Where do they get this arrogance from ? This guy is clearly a tosser but why do so many Brits act like this ?

Why can't more English chaps act appropriately like Anthony Stewart-Head?

he's just called Anthony Head over here, how comes he gets an extra surname when he does Buffy? Is it part of his payment?

It should read "English lack of self-control.", "I am sick of these English morons" and "why do so many Limeys act like this?".

Here's a simple test: look up "british football hooligans" on Google -- 98 results. Look up "english football hooligans" -- 413 results. That's over 4 times as many. Obviously, there are Scottish and Irish hooligans, but it's not a central ethos of those countries, as it is in England.

a search for rangers celtic bigotry gives 630 hits thus revealing the central ethos of Scottish and Irish fans.

Actually, your research is flawed (none / 0) (#4)

I did what you suggested. A search for Scottish Football Hooligans yielded 3100 hits.

But that was not really my point. This idiot thinks he is above the law:

""I am not a lout but a public school-educated university student"

Note: in the UK a "public" school is a fee-paying school for the monied minority. Quite what this upper-crust moron was doing in the downmarket town of Faliraki is hard to understand.

Surely you meant "scottish football hooligans", which returns 6 results. If we searched for just english football hooligans, we get 12000 hits, which is once again 4 times as many. I am, of course, completely aware of the cesspool that is Glasgow, but the gruesome twosome pale into insignificance when compared to East-End London Millwall.

On your main point, this "public school-educated" lout is clearly bending the truth to make himself seem civilised and important. If he was a real "toff", he'd be at one of the many Oxford or Cambridge colleges, not Leicester university. You simply don't get toffs from the Midlands. -- because it isn't

You make some vaild points (none / 0) (#6)

when you put anti English hatreds aside (almost 17,000 hits sadly).

This so called toff's story does not add up. It is well known that the Midlands are a hotbed of Islamic extremism so it is possible that he was converted to the cause by an Al Qaeda cell in Leicester University. No doubt he was spying for the enemies of the world's first democracy thereby explaining why he was in such a seedy locale. Perhaps the authorities should be notified?

I believe that if the police had inspected the young mans bottom they would have found a hidden Al Qaeda spy camera.
Itis my belief that he was getting properganda material to show the decadency of the West.
It is true there are no real toffs from the mid-lands. This young extremest clearly did not research his cover story well enough.

We're so arrogant... (5.00 / 1) (#8)

... because we're better than you.

Anyway, "The Sun" is several classes of journalism below your "National Enquirer" or indeed "USA Today". It's utter toilet journalism. And football fans are all wankers.

Furthermore, he's a snobbish lower-middle class English cretin. You can't consider *all* British people to be like that - that's a bit like saying all Americans are fat and wear loud Hawaiian shirts. Here in Scotland, we consider such people to be filthy commoners barely worthy of our notice.

Really I find the story funny. (none / 0) (#12)

I mean he nearly got capital punishment for sticking his white ass out of his pants. Us american kids are a boxer short before are bare ass is hanging out... and it be alright sense its a fashion statement. God for me a hopefully "smart" teen, tell you fucken kids to pull up their pants, get rid of this stupid fashion statement. If I really wanted to see men underwear I would look in a jc penny's catalog, and atlest they have women in their underwear in it as a plus.
