 The evening ended...

Comments: some restaurant in Waterloo, my face adhered to the Sunday Times with drool on account of an acute lack of consciousness. The waitress was rather rude upon awakening me, which I considered to be totally uncalled for since I had actually bought a cup of coffee there a few hours before. I guess I should be somewhat grateful, though. Had she let me sleep I would have missed the train.

Now I am wandering around in a mild state of shock and trying to remember what on earth possessed me to come to where I currently am. Further, I can't find anyplace that will let me have telnet access, so large chunks of mail are going unread.

The next 14 days will certainly be interesting...

That's what generally happens if you go out with James to a club or party from my personal experience. Drool is generally the least of your worries...

At least I had a good time, which makes up for the humiliation of walking around in public with newsprint smeared on my face.

Quite enjoyable.

At least I am assuming it was. Large portions of the evening are a bit hazy in my memory :)

Are you going back home via London ? (none / 0) (#5)

I'm sure we could arrange a piss-up in one of London's fine ale-houses. That is, if you think you can handle it :-)

thank you

Damn 3rd world country power failures (none / 0) (#6)

This is my third attempt at replying to this. The other two met with dramatic interuptions of power on a city-wide basis.

The short answer is yes, the evening of 10 Oct - the morning of 11 Oct.

There was a long answer that I considered to be the pinnacle of witty discourse, but I no longer care about trying to reproduce it. Email me with details if you can stand a drink or two on a weeknight.
