 Am I sick or Dying?

RE: Anthrax Scare. I don't put a lot of stock in rumor or hearsay. When it happens, it happens. But with all of the crap that's been going on lately, how do you know if you're just sick, or more?

When are you considered 'old'?
I don't get sick all that often. Generally it's once a year, a bit of a headache and stuffy nose, maybe a day off to sleep in and get better. The problem right now is that... I'm sick. I took half a day off 2 weeks ago because I wasn't feeling good. And here we are in the present and I'm *still* feeling oogie. Perhaps I've spread it around the house (wife, 4 kids) and I get a little better, kid # 2 gets sick, mutates the illness just a little, and I get whatever new strain PLUS whatever I'm still trying to fight. For the record, I don't think I have Anthrax. If the post office issues a warning in my area (Portland, OR), then I'll be the FIRST in line for Cipro. Until then, I'll keep taking my ibuprofen 2x/day. It still bothers me when my little 1-year old, cute-as-a-button girl runs a fever yet doesn't *act* sick for a whole day+, though. Perhaps I'm just feeding off of the wife's perpetual paranoia. chmod a+x /bin/laden

If you've had it for 2 weeks, and aren't dead yet, I doubt you have anthrax. But if you are feeling that bad, see a doctor. It could be one of a million things. Also, about your daughter, that's not all that unusual. Often the body will fight infections, and win. A lot of times, you get fevers, without even knowing it. Still, 2 weeks seems like a long time to not get better. You should have it checked on.
Do you suffer from late-night hacking? Ask your doctor about Protonix.

... kind of secret code? Or maybe you've had this fever so long your brain is finally fried and can only spew out gibberish? Certainly no sane, right thinking family man like yourself would type such a thing.

Well, it certainly sounds like it. You'd better start chugging Cipro to be sure. Better safe than sorry, and if it's something else, well, no harm done.

Li'l Sis: Yo, that's a real grey area. Even by my lax standards.
